Dropout Duplex is an EP by local Denton, TX musician Sage Baker. It tells a story of addiction, recovery, and trying to grow up while searching for redemption. Filled with impactful lyrics (I’m one with the tides but I can’t swim/I hold my breath I still want to live), Dropout Duplex is a dark lonesome journey. The main imagery of the cover references directly to Tides, the final track of the extended play, and is meant to produce feelings of loneliness and a desire to shine through the darkness.
